Previously, Bandai Namco had ended the Closed Beta Test period for the Sword Art Online Variant Showdown game. This game was launched a few months ago for the 10th anniversary of the anime and manga of the same name. This one game is based on an RPG with elements of battle royale by presenting stunning gameplay and will be present on the mobile platform. And Bandai Namco this time announced that Sword Art Online Variant Showdown has opened pre-registration.
Information About Sword Art Online Variant Showdown
Sword Art Online is a light novel series written by Reki Kawahara. The series has received Manga, Anime, Movie and video game adaptations in the last 10 years. And this series is one of the most popular and successful anime. Yui is also seen as a guide and helping players. Yui will be the NPC guide who will later help the player party with her directions. Meanwhile for the Battle Royale mode, players can fight with other players like games with this genre. However, this mode is still under development and there is still no additional information about this mode.
Sword Art Online Variant Showdown is a 3D-style fast-paced combat game with popular SAO characters in it. Each of these characters will have their own fighting style when fighting against evil enemies. This game tells the story of Kirito when at Dicey Café he heard a strange rumor about Cross Edge. In this game there are 3 types of characters, namely: Attacker, Defender, and Supporter. Attacker specializes in attacking, Defender is the type of character that can withstand attacks. And Supporters are characters who can buff and debuff when fighting.
Each character can also get an Awakening State. In this phase, character skills will not have a cooldown, and players can swap characters at any time. After getting an awaken, the character can also use their ultimate skill. Pre-registration has been opened via the official Sword Art Online Variant Showdown website. This game will be released soon for iOS and Android platforms. There is still no exact release date for this game.
