Following Advanced Warfare, Sledgehammer worked on two more Call of Duty games, World War 2 and Vanguard, the latter of which was regarded as one of the worst Call of Duty games. Some fans may dislike the sequel to Advanced Warfare, but the game could be a good way for Sledgehammer. After the failure of Vanguard, this could be their opportunity to shine once more.

The latest rumors about Sledgehammer’s new Call of Duty game come from Ralph Valve, one of the insiders whose accuracy of leaked information about the Call of Duty series cannot be questioned. Even so, it’s best to keep your expectations low and wait for direct confirmation from Sledgehammer or Activision. Sledgehammer will create a Call of Duty game that is unlike anything else created by other developers. Because it will be interesting to see what happens to the Call of Duty series in the coming years.

According to Ralph Valve’s report, the sequel to Advanced Warfare will be released in 2025, one year after Treyarch’s new Call of Duty game. If the report is correct, it will confirm previous reports that no new Call of Duty games will be released next year. Activision has denied these claims, but some insiders continue to believe that a new Call of Duty game will not be released in 2023.
