It has been revealed that State of Decay 3, the third installment in the well-known zombie survival game series State of Decay, will be developed with The Coalition’s help utilizing Unreal Engine 5. For those who are unaware, The Coalition is the studio responsible for creating the Gears of War games, which are a staple Xbox exclusive franchise from Microsoft.
Toxic Work Environment From The State Of Decay 3 Team
Game production is hampered by problems with the workplace environment. This could happen for a variety of underlying reasons, one of which is the allegedly hostile workplace at Undead Labs. Numerous reports also state that the production team at Undead Labs is experiencing difficulties because the majority of the team members do not concur with the path that the new game they are now working on is heading.
State of Decay 3 appears to be more opulent and daring when compared to various other installments. State of Decay 3 is a game that deserves anticipation because to the use of cutting-edge game technology like Unreal Engine 5 and assistance from developers with an unquestionable reputation like The Coalition.
The Coalition Provided Development Assistance for State of Decay 3
Xbox Game Studios CEO Matt Booty released information about the State of Decay 3 game engine and The Coalition’s involvement in its development on the Major Nelson show. Booty outlined how The Coalition provided support to Undead Labs, the game’s primary developer, in order to integrate new technology and some Gears of War features into State of Decay 3.
He added that the sequel to State of Decay 2 will fundamentally alter many of the ideas it introduced. Even if it currently appears more intriguing, the zombie survival game’s progression hasn’t been easy. The game hasn’t received much attention since it was first revealed in 2020, and it doesn’t even have a set release date for 2022.
Whatever it is, let’s hope State of Decay 3’s production goes well so that fans won’t have to wait much longer to play the most recent installment of their favorite zombie game series.
