A Space For The Unbound Release Delayed

By | September 25, 2022

A Space for the Unbound, an adventure game and visual novel, was previously going to be released by Tangerang, Indonesia-based game publisher Toge Productions. Around 2022 will see the release of the game, which Surabaya’s Mojiken Studio has been working on for almost seven years. But as of now, it doesn’t appear like this is taking place. Toge Productions and Mojiken Studio revealed the outcome of the game in a statement. Due to financial malfeasance and theft, the game had to be postponed.

A Space For The Unbound

Toge Productions and Mojiken Studio declared, “It is with a sorrowful heart that we announce the release of A Space for the Unbound has been postponed indefinitely.” The two Indonesian game businesses explained why they felt compelled to do this in the same announcement. They claim that overseas publishers who worked with the two businesses, specifically PQube Games, misappropriated money.

A Space for the Unbound was released on consoles in the western hemisphere thanks to a partnership between PQube Games, Toge Productions, and Mojiken Studio. Around 2022, A Space for the Unbound is scheduled for simultaneous global release on a number of platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbos One, Xbos Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, and PC (through Steam). Western users, such as those in Europe, will be able to play the game on their preferred gaming console thanks to PQube Games.

According to Toge Productions and Mojiken Studios, PQube Games deliberately misappropriated the grant money they were given. In addition to stealing the grant money, PQube Games, according to Toge Productions and Mojiken Studio, concealed the amount of the whole grant fund. A Space for the Unbound was developed and released using the grant, which was allegedly granted in August 2020 by a well-known gaming firm to aid game companies stricken by the pandemic. Because PQube Games used the money for their own business needs, Toge Productions and Mojiken Studio supposedly felt mistreated and exploited.

Finally, the two Indonesian businesses stated how PQube Games had used the award money as collateral to raise its public profile. Aside from the grants that have been obtained since two years ago, these facts have only recently been learned by Toge Productions and Mojiken Studios. Toge Productions and Mojiken Studio stated, “In March 2022, we recently learned the exact amount of the funding, as well as the shady business practices and abominable ambitions of PQube Games.

They regret PQube Games’ behavior as well, according to reports, as the company allegedly refused to give Toge Productions or Mojiken Studio the documentation required for the console release of A Space for the Unbound in the west.
