In this guide, we will give you information about how to get Gigantamax Capable Pokemon (Pikachu, Eevee, Meowth) early in the game!

How to get Gigantamax Meowth

The requirement for this is easy, you just need to have bought the game before January 15th, 2020. If you meet this requirement, then you just need to claim the Gigantamax Capable Meowth before the date by opening the game’s main menu, and choose the ‘Mystery Gift’ > ‘Get a Mystery Gift’ >  ‘Get via Internet’.

Once you have connected on the internet, the game will search for the mystery gift, and then it will show you the Gigantamax Meowth Gift. Choose it and voila, you get the Gigantamax Capable Meowth!

How to get Gigantamax Pikachu and Gigantamax Eevee

For the Gigantamax Capable Pikachu and Gigantamax Eevee, the requirement is you need to have the save file of these games: Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee.

If you meet the requirement, what you need to do to get the Gigantamax Pokemon really early in the game is just to take the train from Wedgehurst to the area called the Meetup Spot (Wild Area Station).

Once you are at the Meetup Spot – Wild Area Station, you can talk to these two NPCs in the corner:

The boy will give you the Gigantamax Eevee, while the girl will give you the Gigantamax Pikachu. When you talk to the boy, he’ll say

  • “Hey have you and Eevee had a…?”
  • “I knew it!”
  • “You’ve had a Let’s Go experience with Eevee haven’t you?”
  • “I hope you’ll have another Let’s Go experience with this Eevee, too!”
  • and then you’ll get a message: You received Eevee!

And you’ll have a similar conversation with the girl, only this time, it’s about Pikachu, not Eevee.
